KENNEBUNK — Kennebunk police are looking for a local man they said is wanted in connection with a domestic violence criminal threatening incident in town.

Police said William C. Day, 40, fled his Fletcher Street home early Sunday morning and was last seen around 3:30 a.m. on Main Street wearing dark clothes. According to police, he was armed with a knife when he fled the residence.

“The Kennebunk Police Department does not believe the general public is in danger,” the department said in a Sunday morning news release.

Kennebunk police describe Day as 6-feet-1-inch tall, weighing about 155 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
