My nephew and his wife moved here from New York City just about three months ago. Both applied for work and both now have jobs. In fact, my nephew had two jobs to choose from.

Democratic politicians, who always cry foul about things that Gov. Paul LePage and Lewiston Mayor Bob Macdonald try to correct with those programs, always state that there are no jobs out there. That isn’t true.

Democrats try to keep people on welfare to keep them poor, then say, “look what we are doing for you.”

The rest of us are taking care of the jobless. Let them get off their butts and support themselves.
