Great Falls Forum reflects on election
LEWISTON — The Great Falls Forum lecture series will present Bates College politics professor John Baughman speaking on “The 2014 Election: What did we Learn and What can we Expect,” from noon to 1 p.m. in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library on Friday, Nov. 21.
A Q-&-A session will follow. The event is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.

Sale of decorations, dolls, sweet breads
AUBURN — The Women’s Guild at High Street Church, 106 Pleasant St., will hold a sale of Christmas decorations and dolls from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 22.
There will be snowmen, cookie jars, Santa Clauses and other items, as well as a variety of dolls.
The guild also will be selling loaves of sweet bread such as banana nut and pumpkin chocolate chip.
Public breakfast in Litchfield Nov. 22
LITCHFIELD — A public breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Morning Star Lodge, Hallowell Road across from the fire station.
The menu will include eggs, omelets, pancakes, sausage, bacon, home fries, toast, coffee, juice, etc. Cost is $6 per person, capped at $20 per family.
Penguins club meets in Durham
DURHAM — The Tri-Town Penguins Snowmobile Club, with members from Durham, Freeport and Pownal, meets on the last Tuesday of each month from September to April. Meetings are held at 7 p.m. at the Durham Fire Station, 615 Hallowell Road.
The next meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 25. New members are always welcome.
