SCARBOROUGH – The wedding of Melinda Rose Amoroso and David Louis Mailhot was held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 18 at St. Maximilian Church. Pastor James Morrison officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Mailhot is the daughter of Thomas and Kathleen Amoroso of Torrington, Conn. Mr. Mailhot is the son of Dr. Paul R. Mailhot of Lewiston.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Heather Amoroso Nypert, sister, attended as matron of honor and bridesmaids were Kim Baker, friend, and Tanya Mailhot, sister-in-law.
Marc Mailhot performed the duties of best man for his brother and ushers were Christopher Mailhot, brother and Marc St. Jean, friend. Marcus Baker, friend, was the ring bearer.
A reception followed at Dunegrass Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach, after which the couple went on a Caribbean cruise.
The bride received an associate degree in fashion merchandising at Mt. Ida College in Newton Center, Mass. She is employed at G.M. Pollack and Sons Corporate Headquarters in Scarborough.
The bridegroom received an associate degree in mortuary science at Mt. Ida College in Newton Center, Mass. He is employed at Hay and Peabody and Jones, Rich and Hutchins Funeral Homes of Portland and Lindquist Funeral Home in Yarmouth.
