TURNER – Alan and Sue Varney of Turner are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke M. Pinkham of Turner, to James T. Trytek of Turner, son of Tom and Brenda Trytek of Lewiston.

Miss Pinkham is a 1996 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and received an associate degree in nursing from Central Maine Technical College in 1999. She is currently employed as a registered nurse on the Cardiopulmonary/Acute Care Unit at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Mr. Trytek is a 1996 graduate of Lewiston High School and received a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y. He is currently employed in the Health and Wellness Department at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

The wedding will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 30 at St. Patrick’s Church in Lewiston, with a reception to follow at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
