Recently, Eric Brakey knocked on my door. How refreshing to meet someone who is working hard to listen to the concerns of the people he is running to serve.

As an active service officer for disabled veterans volunteering regularly to help disabled veterans in the community, I was impressed at how interested and knowledgeable Brakey was on veterans’ issues.

While many politicians treat disabled veterans like welfare recipients and exploit them in an effort to increase welfare spending, Brakey will fight for veterans who earned their benefits through sacrifice, not entitlement.
