PORTLAND — The Boston Celtics will play an exhibition game against the Toronto Raptors in October at the Cross Insurance Arena, the former Cumberland County Civic Center.

The game will be the Celtics’ first appearance in Portland in 19 years.

Tickets for the NBA preseason game against the defending Atlantic Division champions go on sale Monday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m.
