LIMERICK (AP) — Authorities have released the names of the victims of a weekend crash in Limerick that killed one person and injured another.

Police said 22-year-old Kelsi Banks of Limerick was the driver of the soft-top Jeep that went off the road and flipped over Saturday night. She died at the scene.

Her passenger, 28-year-old Frank Flaherty of Biddeford, was found nearby after apparently being ejected. He was taken to a Portland hospital where he is in serious condition with head injuries. It does not appear either was wearing a seat belt.

Sgt. Stephen Thistlewood came across the crash while on routine patrol at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

The York County Sheriff’s Department says it appears the Jeep went off the road and struck two trees. Speed appears to be a factor.
