I commend Irving Grant for his letter to the editor (July 10) concerning prayer in public places.
As I see this country, with its lack of morality and beliefs, it is taking the wrong path and more people choose the soap opera way of life. They ignore what the creator stands for.
Lifestyle changes have taken place as minorities push their agendas which, in some cases, are helped by the U.S. Supreme Court when justices rule everything unconstitutional. That sets aside what God expects of people and, in turn, sends a message that nothing is sinful anymore.
Modern families don’t seem to have the religious faith that was plentiful a few decades ago. Grandparents have a difficult time understanding the trend that is going on. Claiming that church services are boring and using that as an excuse to not attend is not a good excuse.
People should attend to thank God for their blessings, and for being chosen as his children. He deserves that much.
It is beyond my comprehension how some people do not believe in the creator. They do not realize the how and why people are on this Earth. Sure, parents are responsible, but what made it possible for them to create the miracle of life?
I have not heard of anyone duplicating the human body.
