This is in response to Heather Thomas’ letter (July 3), “Tattoos in the workplace.”

I read that letter a couple times and must say that I applaud Thomas for her bravery for publicly standing up for what she believes.

I do not know what kind of business she works at, however, I do wonder how the employer feels about that public opinion. I hope Thomas will let people know.

People should stand strong for what they believe in.
