WINSLOW (AP) — Winslow police say a teenager was taken to the hospital with alcohol poisoning after officers broke up an underage drinking party at a private camp.
Police said eight teens between the ages of 15 and 17 were charged with possession of alcohol by a minor after police located the party early Tuesday.
Chief Shawn O’Leary said the department received an anonymous tip reporting a potentially large underage drinking party, but the report did not specify where.
Officers searched for the party and the teenagers were found at the camp near Bald Eagle Lane and Brown Trout Road.
One teen was taken to Thayer Center for Health Emergency Room for alcohol poisoning.
All were summoned to court and released to the custody of their parents.
