LEWISTON — This year’s Bands on the Run committee has been working diligently to to make the June 29 Bands on the Run Half Marathon, 5K and Kids’ Fitness Course the same awesome time people have come to expect with this great event.
“The committee is working hard to raise funds for Museum L-A and all the great work they do,” said race director Eric Cobb of Back 40 Timing. “With 10 bands on the course and a free show from Veggies By Day at the finish, adding in beer from Baxter Brewing Co., this year’s Bands on the Run Half Marathon and 5K is shaping up to be a fantastic day.”
The inaugural event in 2012 brought in almost 1,000 participants traveling from as far away as Scotland and Hawaii and has grown every year since.
