Troy Maheux, 19, of Wilton was injured Friday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding crossed the centerline of Red Schoolhouse Road in Wilton and collided with a sport utility vehicle going in the opposite direction. The motorcycle traveled down the driver’s side of the SUV before Maheux was thrown into the middle of the road, Wilton police officer Derek Daley said. Maheux was wearing a helmet. The driver of the SUV, Alexander Dellarma, 48, of Wilton, was not injured. Dellarma tried to avoid the collision and his vehicle went off the road. Maheux was taken by NorthStar EMS ambulance to a hospital to be evaluated, Daley said. Daley was assisted at the scene by officer Mike Ryan and Wilton firefighters.
