FARMINGTON — A Livermore Falls man was ordered to serve a combined 21 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to four charges Friday in Franklin County Superior Court.

Casey Braley, 21, pleaded guilty to possessing sexually explicit material involving sexting with a girl under age 15 and inappropriate photos. In a plea agreement, the state dismissed a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Braley also pleaded guilty to burglarizing a garage in Farmington in 2013. A flashlight, copper wiring and an extension cord were among the items taken. A lighter left at the scene had Braley’s DNA on it, Assistant District Attorney James Andrews said testimony would have revealed.

Much of the state’s testimony comes from a confession Braley made to police, his attorney, Philip Mohlar, said.

Braley also admitted to violating probation on an aggravated drug trafficking conviction in 2012. He had received a suspended one-year sentence followed by two years of probation.

He also admitted to violating probation on a domestic assault conviction in 2012. He received a suspended sentence of 364 days.

His probation on the drug charge was revoked and he was sentenced Friday to serve one year.

In the domestic violence case he was sentenced Friday to 364 days to run concurrent with the drug sentence.

For possessing sexually explicit material, Braley must serve 274 days after he completes the one-year drug sentence.

For the burglary conviction, he received a suspended three-year sentence and two years of probation.

Justice Robert Mullen also ordered him to have no contact with anyone under age 18, unless it is a family member, and to have no contact with the girl in the sexting case. He was also ordered to not go on the property of the Farmington man whose garage was burglarized.

Andrews also told the court Braley will have to register with the state as a sex offender.

Mullen also ordered Braley to pay $100 restitution in the burglary case.
