FRANKFORT — A 21-year-old man was killed Sunday evening in a crash on Loggin Road in Frankfort.

The man, whose name was not released pending notification of family, was deceased when fire and rescue crews arrived just before 8:30 p.m., according to a release from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle, according to the release. Police believe speed was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.

Fire and rescue crews from Winterport, West Frankfort and Frankfort assisted at the scene.
