Mechanics Savings Bank has donated $2,500 to Catholic Charities of Maine. The funds will be used to support the Independent Support Services program for Maine seniors. The program allows low-income seniors and disabled adults to live in their own homes, rather than be forced into state-funded nursing homes. At the donation ceremony, were, from left, Linette Dehetre, assistant vice president and banking center manager; Stephen Letourneau, CEO of Catholic Charities of Maine; Ray Teixeira, vice president and commercial loan officer; and Nancy Richard, assistant vice president and retail banking officer.
