SOUTH PARIS — Chris Stearns of South Paris and David and Debi Hunter-Thoits of Auburn wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Stearns, to Braydon Rice, son of Burnie and Gloria Rice of Bryant Pond.

Ms. Stearns graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and currently works at Riverside Eye Center.

Mr. Rice graduated from Telstar High School. He is an owner-operator truck driver.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned.
