LEWISTON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Kristin Marie Therrien of Dover, N.H., and Derrick Michael Roy of Lewiston.

Miss Therrien is the daughter of Patrick and Wendy Therrien of Lewiston and John and Theresa Wells of Rockfield, Ky. She is a 2010 graduate of Lewiston High School and is currently a senior at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H., majoring in mechanical engineering. She plans to graduate in December.

Mr. Roy is the son of Raymond and Lyse Roy of Lewiston. He is a 2010 graduate of Lewiston High School and is currently a senior at Connecticut College in New London, Conn., majoring in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology. He plans to graduate in May.

The wedding will be held on Aug. 2 at the Great Outdoors in Turner.
