LIVERMORE FALLS — The town will be without a Budget Committee this year because there aren’t enough members.

To have an active committee, there needs to be nine members, Town Manager Kristal Flagg said. There are only four: Carmen Cullen, George Cummings,  Ronnie Sanborn, and Jackie Knight.

Flagg put out a request for five volunteers but no one responded, she said last week.

Selectmen will hold a second budget workshop following their meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at the Town Office.

NOTE: This article was modified since it was published to reflect the correct number of active Budget Committee members and that Ronnie Sanborn is one of them. It was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
