LIVERMORE/LIVERMORE FALLS — Nomination papers for town and school elected positions will be available for both towns March 17 at respective town offices. The papers are due back in each town by 4 p.m. April 25.
In Livermore, two selectperson positions available. There is a three-year position currently held by John Wakefield and a two-year position currently held by Peter Castonguay, Town Clerk Renda Guild said.
The town clerk position and the treasurer’s positions, both two years, are also up for election. Guild is the town clerk and Kurt Schaub is the treasurer.
A three-year RSU 73 Board of Directors position is also up for election, Guild said. Director Cindy Young currently holds the position.
In Livermore Falls, positions up for election are a three-year term and a two-year term on the Board of Selectmen, Town Clerk Sue Sapiel said.
Bill Demaray holds the three-year term, and Kenny Jacques holds the two-year position. Jacques is finishing out a two-year term that was vacated after the first year when Kenneth Pelletier resigned due to his work.
There is also a three-year RSU 73 director’s term up for election that is currently held by Director Denise Rodzen.
