Sabattus Rec Club offering group guns

The Sabattus Rec Club Running Program is holding Group Runs on Wednesdays, starting at 6 p.m. at the Sabattus mini-mall parking lot on Route 126.

A core group of a few runners has been meeting since last fall, and, depending on the weather, are continuing to run each week. Participants are encouraged to wear bright and/or reflective clothing, with lights if possible.

Participation is open and free, with runners of all ages and abilities welcome to join. The runs usually go for 30 to 45 minutes, but runners can pick their own routes and distances. The main idea is to get out and get some exercise in a non-competitive, encouraging atmosphere and meet some new people.

For more information, email Jon at running@sabattusrec.com, or find us on the Sabattus Rec Club Running Program page on Facebook.
