AUGUSTA (AP) — A survey says Maine heating oil has gone down a penny per gallon over the past week, to $3.88 per gallon.
The Governor’s Energy Office said Tuesday its weekly heating fuel survey showed the current cost of heating oil is 35 cents higher since the season started in October.
The survey found a range from $3.60 to $4.29 for heating oil in Maine. It also found that kerosene was up a penny to $4.30 per gallon, while propane increased 4 cents to $3.51 per gallon.
