AUBURN — Donelvin “Don” Irish, 88, of Litchfield, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, with family at his side.

Don spent much of his lifetime working in the woods. Among his favorite pastimes were whittling, going up to camp and watching horse-pulling, all while drinking hot coffee. His spirit will live on through the lives of his family.

He was survived by his devoted wife, Ruby Irish; and his daughters, Brenda and Peg, and their families.

He was predeceased by his son, Brad.
