GREENWOOD — The University of Maine 4H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond will be offering an outdoor enrichment program during both Christmas and President’s holiday weeks at Mt. Abram Ski Resort.
It will be open to children ages 5 to 14. The programs will focus on outdoor skills, such as wilderness survival, wildlife, tracking and archery, a Tuesday news release from Mt. Abram stated.
The sessions will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m., starting at the Westside Lodge on Dec. 26, 28 and 30, and Feb. 18, 20 and 22. Each session will cost $30, including a box meal.
“We are very excited to partner with the 4H Camp and offer our younger guests a rewarding educational experience,” Dave Scanlan, Mt. Abram general manager, said. “These programs are designed to be both fun and teach skills that will last a lifetime.”
Preregistration is recommended and can be done in person at the Mt. Abram Child Care Center at Westside Lodge.
