Season outlook: Both Monmouth teams should be MVC contenders this season. The girls’ team’s turnout is at an all-time high, and Mendendez said the squad’s quality also is high. The girls will be able to cover every event with ability and depth unlike they ever have. The boys also have good numbers and also will be able to cover every event. Two former Mustangs athletes, Molly Menice and Amy Pelletier, have joined the coaching staff, which provides the teams with a more individualized approach to training.
