Ice builds up on an outcropping of ledge below the Pennacook Falls Dam spillway on the Androscoggin River in Rumford. The Native American silhouette spearing a salmon is one of several silhouettes along the shore below the Rumford Information Booth that represent a tribe that used to live along the river’s banks.
