On behalf of all of us at Poland Spring Water Company, I would like congratulate the town of Poland on its recent Business Friendly Community certification from the Maine Department of Economic Development. We are thrilled that the community that we have called our home for 168 years has received acknowledgement for the economic development that we have known since our company’s inception.

The Poland Spring water brand began modestly in 1845, a small family-run business that has turned into an iconic Maine company and America’s number one spring water brand. Today, Poland Spring employs more than 800 Maine people from 140 communities and operates three bottling plants —  in Poland, Hollis and Kingfield — and an additional six spring sites.

For decades our business has been fortunate to have strong community support and an exceptionally positive working relationship with the town of Poland. Our hometown has been a partner through thick and thin along this remarkable journey, and has contributed countless times to our success.

We offer our congratulations to the town of Poland. We are grateful to town officials for their ongoing support of Poland Spring Water Company and for the quick and professional response we get to our needs from elected officials and town departments alike.

We look forward to doing business in Poland for decades to come and encourage others to do the same.
