LEWISTON (AP) — A Winthrop woman has died in the hospital four days after getting injured in a traffic crash that took the life of her husband.

Police and relatives say 74-year-old Patricia St. Laurent died Monday afternoon at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

St. Laurent was flown to the hospital Thursday morning after the van in which she was a passenger was struck by a box truck on U.S. Route 202.

St. Laurent’s husband, 80-year-old Napoleon Richard St. Laurent, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the box truck, 44-year-old Jeffrey Ray, of Scarborough, was also hospitalized but has been discharged.

Police told the Kennebec Journal (http://bit.ly/17PRBnu ) that the crash remains under investigation and no one has been charged.
