1953 – 2013

MERRIMACK, N.H. — Theresa A. “Terri” Milligan, 60, of Milford, N.H., passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H. She was the beloved wife of Maurice E. Milligan, of Milford, N.H., for 40 years.

Terri was born on Oct. 1, 1953, in Rumford, the daughter of the late Harland Magoon and Robert and Lorraine (Robichaud-Magoon) Legere of Peru.

She will be fondly remembered for her love of family, the beach and butterflies.

She is survived by her loving son, Shawn D. Milligan and his partner, Angel O’Neil; two grandsons, Deacon and Cameron of Milford, N.H.; her four sisters, Christine (Magoon) Fisher of Biddeford, Elizabeth (Magoon) Smith of New Ipswich, N.H., Kim (Legere) Anctil of Peru, and Tammy (Legere) James of Bethel; and two brothers, Kenneth Magoon of S. Rumford, and David Magoon of Mexico.

“Aunt Tree-Tree” touched the hearts of each and every one of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Although Shawn was her only child, there are many of his friends that she mothered, and she will be greatly missed by all.
