Legion fair raffle winners

FARMINGTON — American Legion Post 28 held a public raffle at Farmington Fair. The prizes were a 100 gallons of fuel oil and a stainless steel gas grill, Charles Bennett said.

Tim Bowen, a member of the Legion, won the fuel oil and donated it back to the Post, he said. Amy Tracy of Farmington won the gas grill.

The Legion had a good response to the raffle. Tickets were sold in front of the beano building last week during the fair.

The raffle was held to help raise funds to heat the Post, located on the corner of High and Middle streets in Farmington.
