Regarding the Sept. 10 article about legalizing marijuana in Maine, “National pot group to focus efforts on Maine legalization,” some people want us to treat pot as we do alcohol. Being a teenager, I disagree.

I do not think we should have it in Maine at all, except for medicinal uses. I don’t think it should be allowed in America, except for medicinal uses.

I know I shouldn’t butt into people’s personal lives, but why would anyone pump that garbage into their body anyway? Pot is a horrible poison that is highly addictive and can lead to other, more serious drug uses.

Pot is illegal in Maine and I would like it to stay that way, if possible. I am against marijuana and always will be. It is a vile toxin.

No good would come of allowing the use of pot.
