Oxford Rec offers yoga, Zumba
OXFORD — Yoga and Zumba will be offered through Oxford Recreation at the Station House Community Center.
Yoga is offered by Nikki Pierce on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. This is an hour-and-a-half class for $5 for residents and $8 nonresidents. For more information call Nikki at 461-4919.
Zumba Gold is offered on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. for $1 for residents and $3 nonresidents. Regular Zumba classes are held at 9 a.m. Saturdays. Cost is $3 residents and $5 nonresidents. For more information contact Kelli at 754-9411.
Food Pantry is open Friday
OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, Rayville Road. The pantry is open on the fourth Friday of every month. For more information, call 539-4619.
Dedication of food bank addition
SUMNER — The dedication and open house for the newly constructed Sumner Food Bank addition will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St.

Bethel Senior Citizens Club
BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the West Bethel Grange Hall.
The menu will be corn beef dinner. Cost is $12.

Senior socials return in Harrison
HARRISON — Summer Rec Day Camp is over and Harrison Parks and Rec. is now gearing up for the return of their senior socials offered on the first Tuesday of each month.
The first will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Harrison Fire Dept. Community Room. The group is aware that it is senior day at Fryeburg Fair but found last year that many who attend the socials don’t walk around the fairgrounds.
The luncheon will feature homemade tuna noodle casserole, rolls, pumpkin pie, juice, coffee and tea. The cost is $3 or a donation. Socializing and games before and after the luncheon are part of the event.

Thomas College rep to visit
BETHEL — A representative from Thomas College in Waterville will visit Telstar High School in Bethel at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The representative will meet with students to discuss Thomas’ academic and sports programs, and its residential life opportunities.

Bethel Area CROP Walk set
BETHEL — West Parish Congregational Church, UCC, will sponsor its eighth annual Bethel Area CROP Walk (Churches Respond to Overcome Poverty) at noon Sunday, Oct. 6.
The three-mile walk starts at the church at 32 Church St. and continues around Bethel Village.
Funds raised will benefit local and worldwide hunger and poverty relief: 75 percent to Church World Service and 25 percent to Bethel Food Pantry.
