Volunteers sought for lunches
MEXICO — The GRAMPS community lunch is looking volunteers to help with the meal. Cooks’ helpers, dining room servers and dishwashers are needed.
The jobs start at 9, 10 or 11 a.m. and last for one to three hours depending on the assignment.
GRAMPS serves a lunch every Wednesday at the Mexico Town Hall and delivers to the elderly and/or homebound in Rumford, Mexico and Dixfield.
Although the meal is free, donations are accepted each week as the group no longer receives money from FEMA.
