PARIS — On Sept. 1, during the 10 a.m. worship service, First Congregational Church of South Paris will formally recognize teen volunteers for helping children during summer Vacation Bible School and “Create and Play in a Wholesome Way.”

In appreciation of their kindness, compassion, reliability, creativity, organization and commitment to serving others, the following teens will be recognized: Sarah Annance, Destiny Belanger, Jacob Irish, Anna Huff, Emily Huff, Kari Narhuminti, Victoria Pendleton, Katie Petrovich and Deven Sargent.

Family and friends are encouraged to attend. Children are always welcome in church and can participate in the last “Create and Play in a Wholesome Way” of the summer season.

Sunday School, under the direction of Judy Stone, resumes with a Rally on Sept. 8 during the 10 a.m. service.
