PHIPPSBURG (AP) — The Maine Warden Service is investigating an ATV crash in Phippsburg that injured a 17-year-old boy.
Warden Doug Kulis said wardens, Phippsburg firefighters and Sagadahoc County sheriff’s deputies responded to an area of Devil’s Highway, a series of dirt private dirt roads, shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.
Kulis said the teen was not wearing a helmet.
He was taken to Maine Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not known but Kulis told WMTW-TV (http://bit.ly/19sXoig ) they are not considered life threatening.
The boy’s name was not made public.
