LEWISTON — A woman has died of her injuries following a one-car crash on Interstate 295 in Bowdoinham last week, according to Maine State Police.

Mona Kelley, 56, of Steep Falls, died Friday at Central Maine Medical Center.

Troopers said her car overturned along the southbound lane around 6 p.m. last Tuesday, after several motorists reported the car was being operated erratically.

Kelley was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car after it overturned several times in the median.

Troopers suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
