LIVERMORE FALLS — A local man is accused of getting out of a vehicle at the intersection of Richardson Avenue and Knapp Street on Saturday night and punching a teenager in another vehicle in the face.
Officer Steve Allen issued a summons to Benjamin Soha, 27, of Livermore Falls on a misdemeanor charge of assault, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday.
Soha asked his girlfriend to stop and let him out of the vehicle, Steward said. Soha went to the stopped vehicle, punched the driver, a 17-year-old boy, giving him a black-eye, Steward said.
Soha told police that he was upset with the driver over a road-rage incident that occurred previously, Steward said.
He is scheduled to appear in 8th District Court in Lewiston on Sept. 11.
