LEWISTON – Following two successful events, Lewiston-Auburn Social Media Meetup announces its June date. The June event is set for Monday, June 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Baxter Brewing Co., 130 Mill St.

Lewiston-Auburn Social Media Meetup, started by Larry Gilbert Jr., is a regular social event held at a locally owned restaurant or bar in the downtown area. It’s designed for participants to cultivate face-to-face conversations with friends on social media such as Facebook and Twitter, and also to meet new friends and to engage in a discussion about what makes the Twin Cities a great place to live, work and socialize.

It’s the first group of its kind in the greater L/A area. Meetups have become popular mainstays in cities around the U.S. including several here in Maine.

Free bar snacks will be provided by Davinci’s Eatery. All meetups are free and open to the public (21+ only).
