Greetings friends!

Wow, what a night! I want to thank the Chamber membership for a great turnout for the 2013 RVCC Annual Dinner and Awards Night to help us recognize our outstanding business leaders and community leaders.  Your presence is testimony of the high regard for their personal and corporate success and continuing commitment to this region.  Congratulations to all of our winners for 2013!

The Annual Dinner also brings to a close my year as president. It’s been a busy ride and I feel I we have accomplished some things this year that will make a difference going forward. We welcomed a new employee to The Chamber. Tammy Roberts has taken on the role of managing the finances for us this year. This should allow Peter, the Chamber administrator, time to get out and talk with the members. Peter wants to find out what your needs are; what can we do to help you and your business be successful? What is going good for you and what are your challenges? Look for Peter to make a visit to you and your business in the months ahead.

I also am very excited to announce the Chamber will be unveiling a new website sometime in the next month. Look for it to be more modern and interactive. We will be adding new photos of YOUR River Valley Area on the new site, so if you have a photo that captures the town and area you live and work in, please forward to Peter at info@rivervalleychamber.com so we can get it on the new site.

With this year behind us and another on the horizon, I just want to take a moment and thank a few folks. Thank you to the entire RVCC Board of Directors, it is your commitment, dedication and support that makes this Chamber an outstanding organization. Thank you to Peter Perry for your hard work and dedication to the success of this membership. And finally thank you to the RVCC membership, without your support there is no Chamber!

Sincerely,

Janet Brennick

YOUR Chamber President
