Food Pantry is open Friday

OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 26, at East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, Rayville Road. The pantry is open on the fourth Friday of every month. For more information, call 539-4619.

Church thrift shop open Tuesdays

PARIS — Garments of Praise, a thrift shop for gently used clothing, will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. every Tuesday starting April 30, at the South Paris Baptist Church, 1 Park St.

Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing will be available for a suggested donation.

Clothing is now being accepted for donation at this location. They are currently in need of children and youth clothing.

Bethel Seniors meet May 8

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the Bethel Alliance Church, across from Telstar High School.

Valerie Cole from SeniorsPlus will be the speaker.

Duplicate Bridge Club results

OXFORD — Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met April 19 where a 4 1/2 Howell movement was enjoyed.

Finishing first in flight A were Rosemarie Goodwin (Lewiston) and Luke Merry (New Gloucester), second were Neenie Kivus (Lewiston) and David Lock (Lewiston), third were Peter Cummings (South Paris) and Dick Allen (New Gloucester), fourth were Cindy and Bob Kirchherr (South Paris) who also were first in flight B. Finishing second in flight B were Milt McKeen (Bridgton) and Jim Krainin (Naples), third were Barbara Vanderzanden (Lovell) and Carol Curran (Waterford), fourth were Marlee Turner (Casco) and Cathy Sanderson (Waterford).
