SAVANNAH, Ga. — Annunziata Graziano of Readfield has been named to the dean’s list at the Savannah College of Art and Design for fall quarter 2012.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — The Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College offers a full range of music ensembles including choral, band, orchestra and jazz. Auditions for membership in college performance groups are open to all students.

Sarah Tuttle of Monmouth is a member of the Gettysburg College Jazz Ensemble.

The Jazz Ensemble is an auditioned ensemble of 18 to 20 students, playing all styles of jazz: swing, Latin, fusion, bop and standards from the Big Band Era. The Jazz Ensemble has performed at jazz festivals around the campus and around the world.

PORTLAND — Nicole Bissonnette, a third year student at the University of Maine School of Law, has won a Law Student Ethics Award and $1,000 from the Northeast Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. The award honors outstanding ethics in a law school clinical program. Bissonnette has been a student attorney at Maine Law’s Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, which provides legal aid to low-income families and individuals in Maine.

Bissonnette, a native of Lewiston, graduated from Boston University magna cum laude with degrees in political science and journalism. She served with Teach for America in Texas, teaching high school journalism in one of the nation’s poorest districts. Bissonnette was a Linda Smith Dyer Fellow with the Maine Women’s Policy Center, and has worked as an intern at the Lewiston District Court and with the Savatteri Law Firm in Portland.

BALTIMORE, Md. —  Joshua Charest of Lewiston was named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2012 semester at the Johns Hopkins University.

He is the son of John and Louise Charest and attended Saint Dominic Academy in Auburn.

Charest, who is majoring in mechanical engineering, will graduate in May 2014.
