LEWISTON — Mrs. Cecile Cameron of Lewiston celebrated her 100th birthday at the Green Ladle Cafe on March 9. Approximately 60 people locally and from out of state attended the special event which consisted of family, friends, nieces, nephews and their children.
A hot buffet and a birthday cake were prepared and served by the students attending the Lewiston Regional Technical Center culinary arts program.
The party was hosted by Arthur and Claire Allard, Raymond and Claire Therriault, Marcel and Claire Therriault and Claudette Therriault.
Letters of congratulation were received from Pres. Barack Obama and Lewiston Mayor Robert E. Macdonald.
During the event a CD of Cecile’s photo album was played, bringing many of her guests back to their younger days with special memories, laughter and enjoyment. A collage of special events in Cecile’s life was also on display.
Ann Laplante is thanked for taking more than 300 photos of the event to give Cecile endless memories of her special occasion.
