During every political season there is some debate on abortion. The problem is that the same arguments are used every time. The only choice seems to be either pro-life or pro-choice.

I consider myself neither of these.

Instead, I call myself pro-life-quality. What that means is that both sides make some excellent points but their focus is flawed. Pro-lifers focus on the rights of the child, which I agree with. Pro-choicers focus on a woman’s right to make the decision herself, which I also agree with.

The centerpiece to my belief is that children deserve to grow up in stable households where they know they are loved.

Nobody knows better what kind of household can be provided for a child than an expecting mother. If a woman doesn’t feel as though she can provide the proper love and care that a child needs to grow up healthy, why should the child suffer from the inadequacies of their parents?

I would encourage some debate on this question.
