FRYEBURG — Two people were transported to the hospital following a Monday evening crash at the intersection of Route 5 and Fish Street.

Fryeburg Police officer Michelle Legare said the crash occurred at about 5:20 p.m. Karen Bryan, 43, of North Fryeburg, was northbound on Route 5 when she collided with a southbound minivan driven by Jacob Owen, 26, of Wells, Legare said.

Bryan and her passenger, 21-year-old Brian Parmenter, also of North Fryeburg, were transported to Bridgton Hospital with minor injuries. Owen was not injured as a result of the crash, according to Legare.
