LEWISTON — Eva F. Rouleau, 95, of Litchfield, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Central Maine Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, Feb. 23, 1917, the daughter of the late Harvey and Alphonsine (Landry) Cormier. She attended local schools, graduating from The Robert’s School of Business.
On July 4, 1938, she married Roland Rouleau. Together they worked and raised their young family in the Lewiston-Auburn area. Eva worked at B Pecks in Lewiston for 28 years, and then worked at Bates College for 15 years before retiring at the age of 80.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Holy Family Church. She was an avid sports fan who loved attending any and all sporting events which her children and grandchildren were involved in.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rolande Nault of Lewiston and Linda St. Pierre and her husband, Robert, of Litchfield; her daughter-in-law, Susan Rouleau of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Debbie and Jerry Detzel, Brenda and Pete Fournier, Ricky Nault, Kim and Vic Veilleux, Jeff and Stacie Rouleau, Jason and Amy Rouleau, Kelsey Rouleau and her partner, Tyler Cadouas; 15 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roland Rouleau, Oct. 25, 1983; and her son, George Rouleau, Oct. 18, 2002.
