I am supporting Rep. Peggy Rotundo to return to Augusta as an advocate for the people of Maine. As their representative, she has demonstrated an unflagging zeal in defending the rights of Mainers. She is a compassionate, understanding and determined leader.

As a negotiator on the Appropriations Committee, she has been effective in mitigating some of the negative effects of the governor’s proposed budget. She stood against the cuts to Head Start and the low-cost Drugs for the Elderly and Disabled programs.

Conscientiously addressing the concerns of her constituents, she has always been accessible. She constantly searches for solutions to ongoing issues. People can depend on her to do what is in their best interest.
