HARRISON — The Harrison Recreation Department has reported the results from its 10th annual 5K Run by the Lake on July 11.
A total of 163 runners, from ages 10 to 67 representing states around New England and as far away as Utah and Texas, competed in the event.
Officials say the top overall female was Sarah Bradley, 32, from Waterford with a time of 20:37. The top overall male was Timothy Even, 23, of Stoneham with a time of 16:45
In addition to the first place male and female runners, the top 20 runners included Dan Crooker and Bronson Dean, both of Bethel, Mark MacDougal of Naples, Timothy Cushing of Bridgton and Benjamin Kinerson of New Gloucester.
Also placing in the top 20 were Sarah Pribram of Shelburne, Vt., Eric Darling of Shelburne, Vt., Nicholas Aceto of Bridgton, Peter Rearick of Hebron and Patrick Ridlon of Casco.
Brandon Crandall of Harrison placed 12th followed by Kristina Collins of Paris, Andy Gluck of Harrison, Jonathan Couture of Oxford, Abby Stratton of Colchester, Conn., Virginia Kain of Barrington, R.I., Daniel Chizmar of Harrison and Steve LaPointe of Rumford.
The top 20 competitors ran times ranging from 16:45 to 23:22 minutes.
