- The YWCA of Central Maine will host a Tour de Cure fundraiser from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 6. Participants can choose Zumba and/or Magic Y-World in the pool. All donations will benefit the American Diabetes Association. The event is being held in memory of Al Sherman, who battled diabetes for 35 years. Sherman worked at the YWCA as Mr. Fix it Man for several years.
