FARMINGTON — Diane C. Wiggins, 70, a resident of Gibbs Mill Road, Livermore, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, following a lingering illness after suffering a stroke on Nov. 17, 2011.
She was born Feb. 2, 1942, in Beverly, Mass., the daughter of Ronald and Doris (Anthony) Sturtevant. She was a graduate of Danvers High School in Danvers, Mass. On Nov. 18, 1983, in Wilton, she married Douglas J. Wiggins. They made their home on Gibbs Mill Road in Livermore and owned and operated Furniture World.
Diane enjoyed quilting, sewing, cards, especially solitaire and working in her garden.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Wiggins of Livermore; her son, Jeremy Wiggins of Livermore; her daughter, Becky Rider and her husband, William, of Jay; her brother, Wayne Sturtevant and sisters, Jean Sturtevant, Carol Brousseau, all of Danvers, Mass., and Donna Shove of Florida; grandchildren, Dylan Wiggins-Rider and Devlen Rider; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by parents; and her son from her former marriage, Todd Dikis in 1984.
