“We continuously evaluate and analyze outcomes to determine benchmarks and develop a roadmap within our strategic planning to meet our goals,” Police Chief Phil Crowell writes in the report’s introduction. “We must incorporate technology, best practice strategies and a multi-dimensional community policing approach. It important for us to not only review local and state-wide trends, but we also need to monitor trends occurring across our nation.”
